# Inventory Counts: Copying an Existing Inventory Template

This is a part of the [Inventory Counts](/doc/docs/inventory-counts-overview-security) feature.

Inventory Templates are custom-made counts that are routinely put in use. After Users have [created an Inventory Template](/doc/docs/inventory-counts-create-and-edit-an-inventory-template), the Inventory Templates can then be copied to other locations for efficiency purposes.

## Copy an Existing Inventory Template

To copy an existing Inventory Template, follow these steps:

1.
