R365 includes a built-in Employee Separation Report that lists all employees who have been terminated or separated, along with their hire date, separation date, separation type, and rehire eligibility. The report is available in My Reports under the Workforce tab.
Symptoms
A user is looking for a termination report and cannot find it
A user navigates to My Reports but does not see an Employee Separation or termination report
A user has access to My Reports but the report does not appear in search results
Steps to Resolve
Step 1 — Find and Run the Employee Separation Report
Open the Reports app.
Click My Reports.
Click the Workforce tab.
In the search bar, type Employee Separation.
Click Customize to set a date range and any other parameters.
Click Run to generate the report.
The report includes each separated employee's legal entity, location, hire date, separation date, separation type, and rehire eligibility.
Step 2 — If the Report Does Not Appear in Search Results
If the Employee Separation Report does not appear in My Reports, the user's report role may not include access to it.
Ask an R365 administrator to review the user's assigned report roles.
Navigate to Admin > Users & security > Users.
Double-click the row for the user to open the User Record and click over to the Reporting tab.
Click the blue arrow icon to open the assigned Report Role and review the permissions within.
The administrator can expand an existing role to include the Employee Separation Report or assign the user an additional report role that includes it.
Once permissions are updated, navigate back to Reports > My Reports and search again.
