Financial Dashboards can be built for any user by updating their [report role](/doc/docs/security-permissions-report-roles) to include one or more [dashboard widgets](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-dashboard-widgets). Users can customize and [rearrange their dashboards](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-customize-the-dashboard) as needed, as well as [create saved views](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-saved-views). On this page, users can: - Adjust the [date settings](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-date-settings) - [Customize and rearrange widgets](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-customize-the-dashboard) - Create and save [dashboard views](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-saved-views) > Users who are not given access to dashboard widgets will not be able to access the dashboard. --- > [!WARNING] > The Financial Dashboard is available when [Custom Financial Reports](/doc/docs/custom-financial-reports-writer-overview-and-security) is enabled. If Custom Financial Reports is not enabled, contact your Sales Representative to learn more about this add-on feature. --- ## Security Users are granted access to viewing the Financial Dashboard as part of their [report roles](/doc/docs/security-permissions-report-roles). > A user's P&L Cutoff selection will have an effect on the data displayed in each assigned widget. Select **Home** from the left navigation rail. 2. Enter all or part of the **page name** in the R365 global search bar. 2. Select the page from the results list. > Only enabled pages can be searched for. Users only gain access to the Financial Dashboard when their [report role](/doc/docs/security-permissions-report-roles) is updated to include one or more Financial Dashboard widgets. Without an assigned widget, the dashboard won't appear. #### Why don't I have a Financial Dashboard option at all, even with a report role assigned? The Financial Dashboard only exists when [Custom Financial Reports](/doc/docs/custom-financial-reports-writer-overview-and-security) is enabled as an add-on. If it isn't enabled on your account, contact your Sales Representative. #### Why does my Financial Dashboard show different numbers than a coworker's? Each user's [P&L Cutoff](/doc/docs/security-permissions-report-roles#settings) setting, part of their report role, affects the data shown in their assigned widgets — so two users can see different figures for the same dashboard. #### Can I change which widgets show up or save different dashboard layouts? Yes. Once you have Financial Dashboard access, you can rearrange widgets and [create multiple saved views](/doc/docs/financial-dashboard-saved-views) to switch between layouts. A restaurant or business site under a legal entity where operational and financial activity is tracked in R365. Structured documents that provide insights and summaries of various operational metrics and financial data. Permission set that grants access to specific reports or reporting features.
