# DSS Status Report

The DSS Status report provides a daily update of all imports to the [Daily Sales Summary,](/doc/docs/daily-sales-summary-accounting) allowing users to view a quick list of successful imports and any issues that occurred.

## Navigation

The My Reports search bar can be used to search R365's entire catalog of reports.

1. Open the **Reports** app.
2. Navigate to **My Reports**.
3. Enter all or part of the report name in the **search bar**.
4. The **Results** tab will open with the list of search results.
5. From beneath the report name, click **Run** to run the report with the selected report view. -OR- Click **Customize** to adjust the report parameters and run the report.

## Report Parameters

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Filter By | Filter options for the report: - Location - Legal Entity - [Location Group](/doc/docs/location-groups-in-my-reports) - Location Reporting Category |
| Filter | A list of filter options, determined by the 'Filter By' category selected (#1). |
| Start | First date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for which data is generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates. > [!NOTE] > Dates prior to the POS Import Start Date recorded on the [location record](/doc/docs/legal-entities-location-record) **will not** be displayed. |
| End | Last date to include in the report. The Start and End sate fields create a date range for which to display data. Last date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for which data is generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates. |
| View options | Select, save, edit, or delete a report view. For more information about these controls, see [My Reports: Using My Reports](/doc/docs/my-reports-using-my-reports#report-views). |

## Report Columns

| **Column** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Date | Date of the import. > [!NOTE] > Dates prior to the POS Import Start Date recorded on the [location record](/doc/docs/legal-entities-location-record) are **not** displayed. |
| Location Name | Name of the location associated with the DSS. |
| Issue | Provides a description of any issues that occurred. Possible issues include: - **Missing DSS** - No Daily Sales Summary is present to which data can be imported. - **$0 DSS** - DSS imported successfully but with $0 in sales. - **Out of Balance JE** - Debits do not equal credit in the sales journal entry. - > [!TIP] > See [Missing and out of balance daily sales summaries](/doc/docs/troubleshooting-missing-and-out-of-balance-daily-sales-summary) for troubleshooting options. - **Missing Labor JE** - The POS Import Type is set to Sales and Labor for the location, but the labor journal entry shows $0. |
| Balancing Adjustment Amount | Sum of any balancing adjustments shown in the DSS. |
