Page header
The page header contains controls for filtering the AP center and switching the view.

Element | Definition | |
|---|---|---|
1 | View by | Toggle that switches the entity/location selector between Legal entity and Location. The picker defaults to Location. To filter by a different location or legal entity, type its name into the dropdown selector. |
2 | Entity/Location selector | Dropdown that filters the data by a specific legal entity or location. The available options match the View by selection. |
3 | Show launchpad / Hide launchpad | Button that toggles the visibility of the Launchpad panel. The label changes based on the panel's current state.
|
4 | Menu | Opens a menu with the option to switch back to the classic AP Center view. See Switching to classic view below. |
Location and legal entity access
Your location access controls what the View by picker offers and what data the AP Center shows. Your administrator sets location access on your user record.
Location list: Shows only the locations you're assigned to.
Legal entity list: Shows only legal entities that include at least one of your assigned locations. There isn't a separate legal entity permission.
Data: Invoices, payments, payment runs, and credit memos are limited to your locations, whether or not you make a selection in the picker.
Users with access to all locations: See every location and legal entity.
Status
The Status section displays four tiles. Each tile shows an AP balance total for the selected entity or location. Each tile includes an ⓘ icon that shows a tooltip definition on hover. This section can be expanded and collapsed.
Each tile displays both the total amount and the number of invoices that make up that amount.

Tile | Definition |
|---|---|
Open balance | Total unpaid balance across all AP invoices, excluding fully paid and voided invoices. |
Due this week | Total unpaid balance of open invoices due within the next 7 days. Excludes past-due, fully paid, voided, and invoices due beyond 7 days. |
Ready to pay | Total remaining balance of approved invoices eligible for payment. Excludes invoices on hold, fully paid, voided, VCard, and non-approved invoices. |
Past due | Total unpaid balance of open invoices with a due date before today. Excludes fully paid, voided, and invoices due today or later. |
You need the View AP Invoices permission to see the Status tiles.
Workflows panel
The Workflows panel displays AP transactions organized by workflow stage. It contains six tabs, each representing a stage in the AP process:
Upcoming drafts
Pending invoices
Credit memo
Ready to pay
Payment runs
Unmatched payments
For a full reference of each tab's columns and actions, see Workflows Panel in AP Center Hub.

Launchpad
The Launchpad displays shortcuts to common AP tasks. It appears on the right side of the hub and can be shown or hidden using the Show launchpad / Hide launchpad button in the page header. For a full reference of available shortcuts and customization options, see Launchpad in AP Center.

Switching to classic view
Select the menu button in the page header, then select Classic view. The page reloads and the classic AP Center opens.
When in the classic view users have the option to switch to New experience.
The new AP Center loads by default on first visit. After switching experiences, the last-used experience (new or classic) loads on later visits.
