From this screen, users can:
Map payroll accounts by legal entity
Map payroll accounts for all legal entities and locations
The new Payroll Mapping experience is available for early access through R365’s Early Adopter Program.
Security
Users must have the following permission to view the Payroll Accounts tab:
Administration → Mapping Tool → GL Mapping → View Payroll GL Mapping
Users must have the following permission to edit the Payroll Account Mapping Details.
Administration → Mapping Tool → GL Mapping → Edit Payroll GL Mapping
Users without access to all active payroll locations cannot edit, but can view payroll mapping.
Navigation
Open the admin application.
Click Integrations to expand the folder.
Click the Mapping Tool.
Switch to the Payroll Accounts tab.
Click the desired Payroll Account row.
Payroll Account Mapping Details - Buttons and Fields
The number of GL Accounts is determined by the user. When the mapping type is set to all, the GL Account details only requires one GL Account to be selected.

1 | Payroll Account Name | The name of the earning, deduction, or tax code. |
2 | Type | The type of payroll code: earning, deduction, or tax. |

3 | Mapping Type | Sets the mapping method for the payroll account: Legal Entity or All. |
4 | Default GL Account | The GL Account that will be used as a default for any unmapped legal entity.

5 | GL Account Expand/Collapse | Expands or collapses the GL Account section. |
6 | GL Account | The GL (general ledger) account used in payroll journal entries for the associated legal entity and payroll account. |
7 | Legal Entity | The legal entity(s) with the GL account mapping is applied to. |
8 | X | Removes the legal entity from the GL account mapping. |
GL Account 2 (Only displayed when the mapping type is set to: legal entity and an additional GL account is added) | ||
9 | Trashcan | Deletes the GL Account from the payroll account mapping. |
10 | GL Account | The GL (general ledger) account used in payroll journal entries for the associated legal entity and payroll account. |

12 | Add a GL Account | Adds a GL account section. |
13 | Cancel | Closes the payroll account details without saving. |
14 | Save | Saves the payroll account details. |
