# Guides Overview

Task guides are part of [Task Management](/doc/docs/task-management). Each guide is made up of user-created tasks and task groups. When building a guide, users will create and customize individual tasks, group them into task groups, then assign the guide to a location. These tasks will then be listed as tasks to complete on the [My Tasks page](/doc/docs/my-tasks) for the assigned locations.

The [Guides page](/doc/docs/guides-page) lists all guides that have been created. Here, users can view, [create](/doc/docs/creating-a-new-guide), and edit [guides](/doc/docs/guide-details), as well as access [Task Management settings](/doc/docs/task-management-settings).

## Guide Details Page

The [Guide Details page](/doc/docs/guide-details) contains the tasks and task groups within a single guide. Here, users can view and edit task groups, as well as [create or edit tasks](/doc/docs/create-a-task).

## R365 Recommended Guide

All users will have a pre-built guide called the **R365 Recommended Guide**. This guide is built by R365 and can be used as an example of how to build guides. The R365 Recommended Guide can be used as is by assigning locations or [duplicated](/doc/docs/duplicate-a-guide) as the starting point for a new guide.

## Creating a New Guide

Users can [create a new guide](/doc/docs/creating-a-new-guide) by clicking the **+Add Guide** button in the top right corner of the [Guides page](/doc/docs/guides-page). Users will then be prompted to create new tasks and task groups.
