Yes. The column being filtered doesn't need to be visible for the filter to apply. Learn more about [adjusting table columns](/doc/docs/adjust-table-columns). #### My table looks empty after applying filters — is something broken? No. When applied filters return no results, the table shows a message instead of blank rows — that's expected behavior. Clear or adjust your filters to see results again. Learn more about [Working With Smart Grids](/doc/docs/working-with-smart-grids). #### Do filters I apply in a column header show up anywhere else? Yes. Filters applied directly in a column header also appear in the table's Filter menu, where you can view or edit them. Learn more about [column filtering](/doc/docs/filter-a-table-with-column-filters). #### I turned on column filtering from the grid menu, but the filter fields disappeared when I came back. What happened? Column filtering enabled from the ⋮ (More Options) menu applies only to that table for the current session. It resets when you refresh the page or navigate away. To keep column filters available on every visit, enable **Column Filters** in [User Preferences](/doc/docs/user-preferences) under Table Display instead. #### What's the difference between enabling column filtering in User Preferences vs. from the grid menu? Enabling column filtering in [User Preferences](/doc/docs/user-preferences) turns it on permanently for all supported tables across R365. Enabling it from the ⋮ menu turns it on for the current session only on that table — it resets when you navigate away or refresh the page. Restaurant365
