# AP Center Launchpad

The Launchpad is a panel in the [AP Center](/doc/docs/ap-center-new) that displays shortcuts to common AP tasks. It appears on the right side of the screen. To show or hide the Launchpad, use the **Show launchpad** or **Hide launchpad** button in the page header.

## Navigation

In the [AP Center](/doc/docs/ap-center-new), select **Show launchpad** in the page header.

> When the AP center is opened, the launchpad will appear by default. **Show launchpad** only needs to be clicked when the launchpad has been hidden.

## Launchpad panel

The Launchpad header contains a **three-dot (⋮) menu** that opens the [Manage launchpad](/docs/ap-center-launchpad#manage) panel.

The Launchpad contains 10 items by default. Items appear in the order set in the Manage launchpad panel. Some items expand to show sub-items when selected. Each item links to the corresponding action in R365.

An item appears in the Launchpad only if you have the permission listed for it.

| Create credit memo | Apply a vendor credit. | **Create AP Credit Memos** |
| Enter multiple invoices | Select to expand. Opens options for **Mass invoice entry** and **Import AP transaction**. | **Create AP Invoices** |
| Create manual payment | Record a payment made outside R365. | **Create AP Payments** |
| Create invoice | Add a new AP invoice. | **Create AP Invoices** |
| Create payment run | Batch approved invoices for payment. | **View Payment Runs** and **Edit Payment Runs** |
| Create vendor | Add a new vendor record. | **Create Vendors** |
| Documents to process | Select to expand. Opens options to **Review documents** and **Upload document**. | **Review documents:** **View Documents to Process** (accounting or operations) **Upload document:** **Create Documents to Process** (accounting or operations) |
| Run end of period reports | Select to expand. Opens options to open the **P&L report** and **Balance sheet**. | **Run Reports** |

## Manage launchpad

The Manage launchpad panel controls which items appear in the Launchpad. It also sets the order those items appear in. Open it by selecting **menu button** in the Launchpad header.

| --- | --- | --- |
| **1** | Drag handle | Drag to reorder items in the Launchpad. |
| **2** | Save | Applies the current toggle and order settings to the Launchpad. |
| **3** | X (close) | Closes the Manage launchpad panel without saving changes. |
| **4** | Item toggle | Turns a Launchpad item on or off. Only items toggled **on** appear in the Launchpad. |
