Restaurant365 is incorporating participant feedback before it opens access more broadly. Learn more about [requesting R365 Public API access](https://docs.restaurant365.com/apidocs/en/request-access). Postman requests to the R365 Public API are configured once at the environment and collection level. --- ## Configure the Postman Environment Follow these steps to set up a Postman environment and collection for the R365 Public API: **1)** Create an environment with two variables: `token` and `customerInstance`. - Learn more about [requesting access](/developer-hub/apidocs/request-access) to obtain the token and customer instance. **2)** Mark the `token` variable as a **secret** type. - Marking the variable as secret keeps it hidden in shared collections. **3)** Set the collection's base URL to `https://api.restaurant365.com/public`. **4)** Add the `Authorization` and `x-r365-context-tenant-id` headers at the collection level, using the environment variables, so every request in the collection inherits them. | Key | Value | | --- | --- | | `Authorization` | `Bearer {{token}}` | | `x-r365-context-tenant-id` | `{{customerInstance}}` | - Learn more about [authenticating and request headers](/developer-hub/apidocs/authentication).
