# Sales Forecast Report

The Sales Forecast Report shows daily sales forecast amounts alongside actual sales. It contains one row for each location, business day, and forecast session.

## Column reference

| Column | Type | Description |

| tenant_id | NUMBER(38,0) | R365 internal tenant identifier |
| daily_forecast_id | VARCHAR | Daily forecast session record identifier. Links the forecast session to its interval detail. |
| location_id | VARCHAR | Location identifier |
| location_name | VARCHAR | Name of the location |
| location_number | VARCHAR | Location number |
| date | DATE | Forecast business date |
| operational_year | NUMBER(4,0) | Fiscal year from the 4-4-5 calendar |
| operational_period | NUMBER(2,0) | Fiscal period number (1-12) from the 4-4-5 calendar |
| operational_quarter | NUMBER(9,0) | Fiscal quarter from the 4-4-5 calendar |
| forecast_amount | NUMBER(38,2) | Sales forecast amount for the day, summed across intervals with per-interval user adjustments (dollar amounts) added |
| projected_amount | NUMBER(38,2) | Sum of the raw system-projected amounts across intervals, before user adjustments. |
| is_systematic_generated | BOOLEAN | True if the forecast session was generated by an automated rule group rather than manually |
| is_generated_by_manager | BOOLEAN | True if the forecast session was generated manually rather than by an automated rule group |
| operational_week | NUMBER(2,0) | Fiscal week number (1-53) from the shared 4-4-5 calendar |
| legal_entity_id | VARCHAR | Location's own legal entity identifier, for filtering. |
| legal_entity_name | VARCHAR | Location's own legal entity name. |
| current_year_net_sales | NUMBER(38,2) | Net sales from the daily sales summary for the forecast date, with no approval or status filter. Zero when no sales are recorded. |
| prior_year_date | DATE | Same day offset in the previous 4-4-5 year, on the same weekday. Blank outside calendar coverage or when a week-53 day has no match. |
| prior_year_net_sales | NUMBER(38,2) | Net sales from the daily sales summary on prior_year_date. Blank when missing or when the data has expired under the two-year retention. |
| prior_year_2_date | DATE | Same day offset two 4-4-5 years earlier, on the same weekday. Blank outside calendar coverage or when a week-53 day has no match. |
| prior_year_2_net_sales | NUMBER(38,2) | Net sales from the daily sales summary on prior_year_2_date. Mostly blank, because daily sales summary data is kept for two years. |
