# GL Account Balance by Date

> Retrieves GL account balances as of specified date

**Security**

The requesting user must have the following permissions to retrieve GL account balances:

- General Ledger → GL Accounts → View GL Accounts
- General Ledger → GL Accounts → Access Restricted GL Accounts
