# Legal Entity

Legal entities (companies) within the customer's organization, with one row per legal entity.

## Column reference

| Column | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| tenant_id | NUMBER(38,0) | Unique identifier of the R365 tenant account. |
| id | UUID | Unique identifier for the legal entity. |
| name | VARCHAR | Name of the legal entity. |
| number | VARCHAR | User-defined number for the legal entity. |
| phone | VARCHAR | Primary phone number for the legal entity. |
| address1 | VARCHAR | First line of the legal entity's address. |
| address2 | VARCHAR | Second line of the legal entity's address. |
| city | VARCHAR | City of the legal entity's address. |
| state | VARCHAR | State or province of the legal entity's address. |
| zip | VARCHAR | ZIP or postal code of the legal entity's address. |
| closed_date | DATE | Date the legal entity was closed, if applicable. |
| due_from_account_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the intercompany due-from GL account. |
| due_to_account_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the intercompany due-to GL account. |
| payroll_check_account_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the GL account used for payroll checks. |
| is_tip_earning_included_in_payroll_export | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether tip earnings are included in payroll exports. |
| is_payroll_common_payer | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether this legal entity is the common payer for payroll. |
| is_tax_form_1099_common_payer | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether this legal entity is the common payer for 1099 tax forms. |
| display_name_on_check | VARCHAR | Name displayed on checks issued by this legal entity. |
| payroll_check_printing_grouping_key | VARCHAR | Key used to group payroll checks for printing. |
| is_primary_reporting_entity | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether this is the primary reporting entity in the organization. |
| default_checking_account_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the default checking account for this legal entity. |
| created_on | TIMESTAMP_NTZ | Date and time the record was created. |
| created_by_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the user who created the record. |
| modified_on | TIMESTAMP_NTZ | Date and time the record was last modified. |
| modified_by_id | UUID | Unique identifier of the user who last modified the record. |
| is_active | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether the legal entity is currently active. |
| is_deleted | BOOLEAN | Indicates whether the record has been soft-deleted. |
